Danish energy group NEAS Holding A/S sets up a dedicated Clean Development Mechanism company - NE Climate A/S

The outcome of the COP17 negotiations resulted in an extension of the Kyoto Protocol and the Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) beyond 2012 and increased the certainty of a future carbon market in a global scale. On this basis NEAS Holding A/S whishes to consolidate its CDM activities and prepare for future business activities in the low-carbon economy. All CDM-related activities are channeled from energy trading and management company Nordjysk Elhandel A/S into the newly established company NE Climate A/S.

Sale of Nordjysk Elhandel Completed

The sale of Nordjysk Elhandel A/S to its new owners was completed April 15th. Some changes in the agreement between the parties had delayed the process but the agreement has now been adjusted.
